Harland was a teacher beloved by all at New Moon Studios. He taught Bass Guitar, Guitar & Ukulele here for over 3 years.

He  had a unique ability to connect with people through music. Parents often sought him out to teach guitar to their children, recognizing his extraordinary patience, compassion, and talent. Reflecting on his life's work, Harland once said, "It took me 53 years, but I can sit here and honestly say I live for this job, and I love what I do."

Those who knew him saw those words reflected in the care and joy he brought to every student and patient.

Harland will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, unwavering devotion to his family, and the countless lives he touched through his music and compassion. His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the friends he cherished, and the many students, patients, and fellow musicians whose lives were forever enriched by knowing him.
